I really like this era of gloves because of when I grew up. Plus the Sonnett gloves I've owned had some really interesting factory markings. This one is no exception. Last month there was the Sonnett with the "Bat Web" and this newly auctioned Sonnett glove from ebay features the "A Bomb 300" web. Nice "Velvotan" leather and a "James Davenport" endorsement. It went for BIN of $99. A sweet glove if you are a Sonnett collector.

That is a great looking Sonnett, Mike. Always liked the Blue Ribbon they stamped on some of their gloves.
Here's a Macgregor from that era. Hank Aaron PM G113 that ended at $42.

Here is one from a few days ago. Someone must have snapped this up with a BIN within an hour of its listing. A beautiful white leather Simmons American full web high quality glove for $60 on ebay. Quite a bargain and contrast to the white Victor glove approaching $300 and the Reach glove above.

Hey guys! Curious ab the fair play mitt. My first vintage baseball jersey I received from my father was a fair play and I had been watching since day one of finding on eBay. I was going to buy it and frame both items to give to him for his birthday. Obviously some sentimental value, so please let me know if anyone on here picked it up as I will take care of them. Please pm if so. Jared.

I was in on the McCovey to a little over $100.00 Surprized me it got so high. I thought the economy was bad

That's a strong price for the McCovey - the Sonnett model is very common and usually shows up in pretty decent shape. Granted this one looked unused but if you're patient they come around.
