Say "howdy" to this glove

A child's catchers mitt with "Howdy Doody" name and likeness stamped into the front of the mitt. Wonder if it was sold as a premium or promo item for the popular kids show. Also wonder if Clarabell had a glove? As a cross collectible it's above $400.
This brought to mind of a glove I have a 1930s Jimmy Outlaw endorsed glove that I truly believe, though it's terribly faded, has the likeness of Popeye stamped into the leather, you kow the shot where popeye is squinting with the corncob pipe in his mouth.
Does anyone else have some mitts with cartoon characters stamped into them?
I once found a glove with an old time illustration of a mustachioed player stamped into the palm . Only this was on a Pee Wee Reese endorsed glove. Go figure that one.
