That's a new one for me.

A close comparison next to a real Rawlings HOH Bull shows that the one on the TMC glove is "close", but there are enough subtle differences that it is not identical to the real thing.

An off-shore knock-off, perhaps?

Does anyone know anything about the TMC company? These gloves turn up fairly often. They appear to be from the 60's-70's time frame and all imported from Japan. I seem to remember reading somewhere that TMC stood for The Mitt Company, but I'm not sure if that's right.

Were they just another overseas company that came and went?

The leather looks stiff and cheap. Also, the label appears to have "Japan" in the poorly focused photo.

My guess is that the HOH logo is just a trademark infringement.

Nothing special about this glove, unless you are a collector of inexpensive, oddball items made with inferior materials.

My thought would be to have less items in a collection, but get the real McCoy and spend the money.

Its fairly nice leather. Fairly thick. Yes, definitely seems a Knockoff of the HOHs, thats what intrigued me. Also, the Web is like one I've never seen. Kinda woven between itself. Interesting glove. Thanks for the replies.
