Antique Store Find
Posted: October 19th, 2007, 7:21 pmCame across two gloves and a bat today at an antique store....All the items seemed to be from the 30's-40's....
Picked up one of the gloves its a circa 1936-1942 Goldsmith Buddy Hassett basemans glove....I found it listed in one of our source books in 1938, 1940 and 1942......It is also listed as very rare in the vintage baseball glove pocket price guide by Dave Bushing & Joe Phillips.....
The glove is in good condition just needs to be cleaned up and I will get some pics up.....We are not to big on basemans gloves so it will probably be something we end up selling....Let us know if you have any interest.....Josh
