Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

I just got this glove the other day and it really cleaned up nice. Does anyone have any information on it? It is labled Geo. A. Reach Co Inc.
COL not connected with any other corporation US. Does the US mean it was US army issued? Thanks in advance for any help you guys might have,

That's got to be a WWII issue glove. Nice looking glove. The US could mean US Army or Navy. Geo. Reach printed that "not connected" line to distinguish itself from A.J. Reach.

ohhhhhh. So AJ Reach and George A Reach are different companies? Interesting!

I've got a couple of Geo. A Reach gloves that are very well made. These guys put out some good products. Anyone know what happened to the company?

this one seems to be very well made also. Also, everyone, I want to apologize for the shoddy lace job on the glove..... It was all I had and when I got the glove the orig. lace had rotted away. Does anyone know of some good, thin, black, old looking lace that might go with this glove? Thanks,
