"Sport Center" Unusual Glove

The brand is "Sport Center" (pre-dating the ESPN show by about 50 years!) and the tag says they were based in Washington, DC.
Glove has finger lacing similar to (but not exactly like) the Ken-Wel Dazzy Vance. The stampings read "Flash Gordon Model", which I assume might be Joe Gordon, underneath a large "Sport Center" logo. All stampings are readable, yet this glove carries no model number.
Buckle wrist strap has separate wool-lined pad that is detachable. Glove is big and heavily padded.
