Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

Did a little shopping at some antique stores today (don't worry MVALZ, I stayed away from your side of the state. ) and found a couple decent gloves including a J.C. Higgins Paul Richards catchers mitt in Near Mint conditon (top of the line too!), a J.C. Higgins Don Gutteridge split finger with some interesting fingers (i'll get pictures up tomorrow) and a US Army Tommy Holmes large split finger glove. Not too bad of a day!

I know, its just a matter of time though...it was a good ride, but there's a new Glove Hunter in town

Good old Fussenich Park. We played quite few games there throughout the years. I remember when I was a freshman I got called up to the varsity team for the league tourney and state tourney. While sitting in the dugout at Fussenich our team buried a time capsule deep in the ground. Wonder if it's still there??
