I bought this at a thrift store a few weeks ago for $5 and know very little. Found info about D&M and Joe Stripp but have not seen this glove anywhere. I had it on Ebay, but killed the auction because I am fascinated with it and want to know more, like the year it was made etc. This might of launched me into collecting.

It is listed in the 1935 D&M catalog. Great looking glove and a nice find. Below is a glove endorsement contract between Stripp and D&M from 1932

Where does one find a 1935 D&M catalog? Also is the G10 a common model, since I do not see reference to them in the catalogs listed on this site.

Thanks!

Contact Joe Phillips here on the forum. His user name is softball66. He has put out a baseball glove resource book listing catalogs with all the major brands. Also look at the websitehttp://www.baseballglovecollector.com. The G10 was mid level in price range in 1935 selling at $5.00. I don't know about the rarity.

While Joe Stripp models are extremely common, this 30's D&M U Notch Buckleback is not. I have never seen another Stripp in this model. Outstanding glove.
