Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

Finally after roughly a 10 year search I turned up one of the Goldsmiths that has eluded me forever!! Picked up a glove on eBay that could have possibly been a Valdes but it was a total gamble on my part. They style of glove was right but it could have just as easily been a Werber or Hughes Goldsmith, they were identical as the Valdes. I have attached some picks of the before and what was underneath all of the grime and inch thick caked on mud on the heel of the glove. The seller says it was found in a wall of a house they were tearing apart.
