I was inspired by rdb34's display that he set up in his local library, so I decided to do the same with my modest Ken-Wel collection.

The library staff was very receptive to having something displayed. It seems that they were wondering what to put in case just as I happened to come along.

I like the color ads as a back drop. Very Nice! What was the earliest model you had in the display?

Thanks for the nice comments.
The catcher's mitt is a 1924 model. The fan style first basemitt and the two gloves standing on the top shelf have Gloversville logos, and are about the time of Ken-Wel's move to Utica.
The Gerhig glove ad on on the top shelf is an original, as is the Dazzy Vance glove ad. The tin Gerhig sign is a repro, but I thought the bold graffics would look nice in the display and give someone the impression of how big Ken-Wel was at the time. The other graffic items are copies of pages from catalogs that show items the bat line and ball construction, etc, that I have mounted on foam core. I was trying not to get too carried away with being educational, but I did want to provide some information as to what people were looking at. And since it is in a library...the balls on the top shelp are resting on a copy of John Thorn's Baseball in the Garden of Eden.

Nice display Ken. By the way, Baseball in the Garden of Eden was one of the best baseball books I ever read. I highly recommend it.
