Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

I picked up an "older" baseball mitt at a yard sale this weekend. I can't find much information on line about the company, "Cambridge". The model number is AK7. Any ideas of how old it could be or how common they were?

Cambridge was an import brand (company- probably a sporting good distributor) glove of the early to mid 1950s and one of the first imported
gloves to come from Japan in the early 1950s. These gloves were a little cruder than the U.S. models that they were copied from as the Japanese were just getting the hang of the manufacturing at this time. These Cambridge gloves show up with some frequency.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping that it was about that vintage.
