Thought I would add some pics of my glove collection so far. Living in Alaska has it's disadvantages when it comes to finding vintage gloves. Thank goodness for ebay and for collectors here on the forum.

Dixie Walker Buckle Back. Thanks to Rickybulldog for this one, but I need help with the company that made it. Any ideas?

Goldsmith Model 2 Softball. Yes, this is a softball glove and I really like it. I know softballs were softer back when this was used, but they would need to be as soft as a rolled up sock not to hurt.

That's a wartime Doak and nicer than mine.
Dixie Walker's name shows up on the following brands according to the Autograph Player Glove Finder Book:
Globe
Godsmith JHC
Goldsmith G117
MacGregor G117
OK Mfg

Not a MacGregor. but could be either of the other 3 brands and someone on
the forum may have an alike glove.
Thanks for sharing some nice pieces.

The Leacock Pep Young looks identical to my Hutch Pep Young glove. I guess we can add one more company to the list of companies that Hutch made gloves for.

Nice collection of gloves!
