Show finds for Sunday April 26, 2009

Had our first large show of the season and came away with a few goodies. Before the show we always meet with our fellow collectors and buddies Matt and Don to share what we have found over the winter and between shows. Don was the lucky man this time as he found a Goldsmith crescent pad full web in good shape at a show for $40
. We were very happy for him. Here are our finds for the show today....
First is a Louisville Slugger 125 Lou Gehrig signature model bat. The stampings are light but definitely legible. The bat is stamped 34" on the bottom of the knob. It has a hand full of very small tack nails in the handle because of a thin crack. If anyone is interested please let us know. Looking to trade or sell.
Second was a Spalding Phil Rizzuto model 1121. Large top quality glove with the Ristankor type feature on the back strap along with the blue Spalding patch. Couldn't find this model in our older source book so if anyone could inform us of the year we would appreciate it.
