Found a quality Yale F770 at a flea market. Goodman model...I'm thinking Billy Goodman, but I could be wrong. Real nice leather

Billy Goodman sounds like a good guess with this being a mid-to-late 50's looking glove.

"High quality" and "Yale glove" aren't two terms you would often hear in the same sentence. Most Yale's I've seen have been cheaply-made or kid-sized gloves.

Something about that glove strikes me as looking very much like a Franklin model from the same era. Franklin used block letter endorsements, usually with just a last name (ie: "Mays Model" or "Musial Model") and the font of the letters looks similar. Also, didn't Franklin use the same "Fast Play Pocket" stamping?

Goodman is also listed as a known endorser of Franklin gloves. All this leads me to believe that there might be some connection between the Yale and Franklin brands

Ival Goodman? Probably too late for him -- he played in the 30's & 40s.
