Some New Beauties
Posted: July 6th, 2008, 3:39 pmI recently acquired these three beauties in a trade with GloveCrazy and I couldn't be happier (even though I had to part with a glove I liked). Of course, they are all Sonnetts. 
JD, you're going to have do some renaming of the gloves on your picture site!
Sonnett Bob Doerr from the early 1950's - everytime I think I finally have all of the Doerr model OK and Sonnett gloves another one comes my way.
Sonnett model 3F3 three finger glove from the mid-1950's. I always admired this glove on JD's site and was hoping to take it into my collection at some time. Well, time has arrived and here it is - I'll take this over those Rawlings PM Playmakers anyday!
Finally, a Sonnett model V445 Woodie Held. This beauty was barely used and the leather is heavenly. I have 4 different Held models now and they are all superb gloves.
