Brimfield Day 3 - May 16, 2008
Posted: May 16th, 2008, 9:30 amFinal trip up to Brimfield this week for me - I'm starting to feel a little tired after getting up before 4 am three times this week. 
This morning I bought 2 gloves and 2 bats. One of the gloves is a top of the line James Brine 1" web glove - everything about the glove is great except the seam holding the thumb section to the body of the glove has been completey removed so it needs to be resewn. Once that is taken care of, I think it it will be an awesome piece. The other glove I picked up was a 1950's Wilson A2904 - it should clean up really nice. The two bats I picked up are both early D&M mushroom knobs with the unspotted Nicodimas (Thanks for the name JD!). Bats are almost identical except one is a model 40 and the other is a 50. Both are solid and have good stampings. I'll get some pics up this afternoon.
