Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

Got up real early this morning to attend a local weekly auction and found some stuff. I was mostly interested in the early A.J. Reach Model 83 bat but the guy ended up selling the basket full of gloves with it as well. There was a younger kid with his grandpa eye balling one of the catchers gloves in the basket before the auction so I gave it to him when it was over, but the other gloves are in good shape and consist of stuff like.....

I will probably end up selling the gloves to play it again if no one is interested. Got the whole lot for 25.00....The bat is the gem...

Heck, if the bat is 34" or longer it's worth $75-$100 easy once you clean it up and oil it.
