Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

Here is what looks to be my last addition for 2007. And what a beauty it is. This is the elusive Dick Radatz Sonnett glove that was top of the line in 1966 and 1967. Never having seen one, I was very excited to this one pop up on eBay with an ending time on Christmas Eve. There was a bit of action on the glove but I was happy with the price I paid, even more so when I came back from a quick trip to find it at my door. The pictures pretty much tell the story but I'll say this (and I know I'm biased) this glove compares to any Rawlings HOH or Wilson A2000 gloves from the same time frame. Actually, I like the this one better. The leather is great, I love the green tag and the web is super cool.

very nice brett, was sonnett making their own gloves or were they contracted out to wilson? looks like it has many of the features of an XLO
