2 New Beauties
Posted: December 13th, 2007, 1:32 pmSince I have no school today (thanks Mother Nature!), I figured I could get caught up on some of my glove work. First one pictured didn't need any work! This is an absolutely gorgeous OK MFG model JD-G Joe DiMaggio military issue glove. I got this as a buy it now on eBay the other night - I'm shocked no one else put in an offer or bought it outright. Leather is soft and supple, stampings are great an I love the black piping between the fingers!
Second new addition is a gift from long time glover Doug Wolk - he picked this up at his local Play It Again Sports the other day. It was super dirty when it arrive but after cleaning, it looks great. The model is TW60 and it's endorsed by Orlando Cepeda. I had just got the black/silver tag Cepeda and now I have a Green tag to add to the collection.
