Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

I recently got a Rawlings XPG 3 from an Instant Replay Sports store. It looked to be in pretty rough shape, but I figured with a good cleaning and re-lacing, it should make a nice glove. This is the first re-lacing job I've done. I had posted it on eBay but have since taken it off. It's probably going to upset a few people who were watching it but I just can't get myself to sell it. Can someone date this glove for me? It has 4 dots on the thumb. Thanks

Nice job on the restoration. Does it have the round Rawlings patch on the thumb area? I'm thinking 1979?
