Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

On ebay there is a glove that the seller describes "is an Alex Rodriguez game used glove from the 2000 season".

The item is Item number: 150144510587.

As i read in the story about the Play it again A-Rod find (which research indicates is the real deal), isn't this a glove rawlings gave away to people and not a real game used A-rod as the item describes? The info in the other story said that there were A-rod gloves with a dot at the end of the signature and that made them not authentic A-Rod game used gloves but some sort of giveaway glove. Is this true? And if so the seller's description is kinda misleading. Any thoughts on this glove?

Pretty sure its a salesmans sample or one of the giveaways made for Pepsi from several years ago. I know I've seen plenty of them online over the years

you never know, someone could have loaned it to alex in a pickup game of softball at the neighborhood block party......that would make it a "gamer"
