Hi there. I'm looking for help in ID'ing a 1" web glove. The glove measures roughly 9"x9". It's in good condition, and I've hit it with Horseman's One-Step a couple of times, but still can't make out the stamping in the palm of the glove that might help me figure this thing out. I'm attaching a couple photos to see if they might help.

At the bottom of the heel, there's an easily read, curved "Genuine Horsehide".
Moving upwards towards the palm there appears to be a number, possible reading: "NO. #1#0". I can't make out the 1st and 3rd digits, 8's or 6's, maybe 3?
Above the number is some sort of modified flat diamond shape, maybe.
Next above, "MADE IN U.S.A."
Above that a smaller font "TRADEMARK"
And above that, an italicized font which I can't make out.
There's a metal button on the wrist strap with a laurel ring pattern.

If any of this looks familiar to anyone, please let me know. I'm enjoying the hunt for clues. Thanks so much!

It's a Winchester model. Check the glove gallery at http://www.baseballglovecollector.com for similar models in the Winchester section.

Thanks mikesglove. If you or anyone else has good sources on Winchester gloves to help me with the history/background and maybe model #, that's awesome. Kinda figured this would be a good spot to ask those questions.
