Baseball Costumes

Richard King in the 1940's as a member of the Indianapolis Clowns. The Clowns were a barnstorming team playing exhibition games that were a mixture of show business and baseball.

The Clowns were also part of the Negro American League and won a championship in 1952. Hank Aaron was a member for a short time.

The Indianapolis Clowns originally were called the Ethiopian Clowns.
