Asbestos Lining - Washing Your Hands Afterward

I have a couple gloves that have soft linings, but I'm not sure if the lining is made of wool, asbestos, or a combination of the two. But ever since I was a kid, I've heard that asbestos exposure is bad. So, assuming my gloves have asbestos linings, my question to all of you is this:

1.) Should I wash my hands thoroughly after putting on my gloves? (I do anyway, just in case)

2.) What are the dangers of having a vintage baseball glove with an asbestos lining?

Any insight you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Do not eat the asbestos. You will get mesothelioma. It will kill you.
