New York Sporting Goods Glove Cont'd...
Posted: January 12th, 2013, 5:48 pmThought I might share the before and after pics of the NY Sporting Goods Crescent Pad/Buckle Web glove that recently surfaced. The glove appears to have originally been white leather and remains just as soft and supple as today as it must have been over 100 years ago. I was able to condition just about all the piping and was also able to clean up a significant amount of the ink that was found on the reverse of the thumb...a really nice surprise.
