I have a question about the Aaron Robinson glove I have for sale on ebay. I had researched the web and found that the Robinson model was a rare one considering according to the source it was produced only one year 1953. Which is odd considering he retired at the end of 1951. Then I saw another AR model on baseballglovecollector.com which was a macgregor but looked very different . So how rare is this glove?

This mitt was probably only produced a few years and sometimes the endorsed gloves were brought out post career days. The Autograph Glove Finder book which we put out a few years ago, shows that 2 had been found at that time: MacGregor Goldsmiths from 1951 (G176 priced at $17.25 -mid priced) and a it was catalogued as a G176 in the MacGregor Catalog in 1952-'53. Relatively rare but perhaps not a high demand mitt. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the information. Searching these old gloves or mitts can get a bit confusing
