How many times...

Anybody actually know how many times this specific glove has been bought and sold in the past year?? Why?
Unless, of course, this a different Percy A. McBride glove from Toronto. In that case, I guess there has been a rash of finds from this mfg. which I find unlikely, but possible.

When it sold on Mears it was listed as adult size. I asked the current seller if a adult hand would fit and they replied that they'd be afraid to try it. Maybe the buyers are consistently disappointed with the size?

It's because it's never advertised as what it actually is - a youth model with a neat tag. It's been listed as workmans, etc - it's not. The glove is in great shape and has a nice look but it is a small, youth model. Nothing wrong with it but sellers have made it out to be something it is not.

This one has been around the block a few times. It's a very small glove and definitely not a workman. Probably a 7.5 to 8 inch glove. There's a small web that seems to be easy obscured in photos. That said, it's a nice glove with a very nice patch, but the size seems to be what makes it expendable.

In the past year this glove has gone from the west coast of Canada, to the east coast of the U.S., to Wisconsin, now to Georgia.
I have tried to find out any info on the history of Percy A. McBride mfg without success. It does gather attention, and again why?

I liked the glove and the obscure glove brand. Pretty well known in Toronto though for motorcycles.http://www.vintagebaseballgloveforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5202

I'm pretty sure I found this glove, or one just like it, in an antique mall in Toronto while on vacation about 10 years ago. I had it a few years then sold it to someone. Anyway, the one I had was really small, no way it would fit on an adult hand. I almost thought at the time that it was a salesman's sample.

It is certainly a "well-traveled" Glove, and Mears has had it on at least 2 separate occasions. About 4 years ago, they advertised it as a Workmans glove, with the lone photo provided obscuring the web. I was the high bidder, but Troy let me off the hook (before I even paid for it). Then it hit ebay, and that's when the "carousel" started up again (with Mears eventually somehow getting it back...)

Perhaps whoever has it now knew what they were getting, and is happy with it.
