Glove pics on ebay

The majority of regular sellers on Ebay take good pics but I'm amazed that a few who sell LOTS of gloves never take a single pic that shows any detail.I would guess there are sellers that leave a lot of money on the table because of it. As a buyer you can get the occasional hidden gem because poor pics scare a lot of people off but I personally will not go high on a glove where I can't see what I'm getting. Close-ups for patches and stamping seem to be the main problem. There are cameras today that take great close-ups for less than 100 bucks. I got my camera on Amazon for 70 bucks and some sellers I'm thinking of would get that back on 1 good glove.Just wanted to vent because I'm always seeing something I think I might like but just can't see the condition good enough and many times when you ask for a better pic the seller will say that's the best they can do. If stampings and patches are clear to your naked eye they should make a good pic.

I don't think it's so much of the problem that sellers don't take detailed pictures or that they take low resolution pictures. I think it was always eBay's limitations. Until recently, you couldn't blow up a picture. eBay's new zoom feature on most listings seems to help a bit. I always right clicked the picture, copied and pasted it to say, my desktop, and then opened it in another program (stock program that comes with most computers like Microsoft Office Picture Manager). I then enlarge it with the magnifying glass or slider to make it bigger.

What I'm getting at is that I don't think people are using low resolution cameras because even phone cameras now are 4, 6 or 8 megapixels, which is a huge and detailed file. It was always eBay's limitations to show the better quality. That's what I always thought at least.
