Does anyone know anything about this glove? I purchased one at a rummage sale. and its in excellant condition.

Great looking glove - looks to be a near top of the line model from the 1940's. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Brett; it is a really well made glove. I have the same model and it's one of my favorite 1940's gloves. A lot of gloves of varying quality were stamped "Professional Model" over the years, but this one really has the qualities of a pro-type glove of the era. It is big, made of great leather, has rolled piping and welted seams. Nice pick up! Here is its twin:
