Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

I have a Nokona Pro Line glove that is made of beautiful leather and remains in great shape today. There is no endorsement. The model designation seems odd though...it is "XX". Is there anything special about this glove or was it a regular mode?

I'm betting this was an experimental glove of the early to mid 1950s OR
maybe a top line glove made for a pro. The XX seems to say it's experimental or test glove perhaps. What's the background on the find?

The glove was an ebay buy a few years ago. I was getting ready to put it up on ebay to sell and while cleaning it the "XX" became readily visible. Unfortunately Joe I have no other information.
