Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

Had the opportunity to pick up these photos today and couldn't pass up. The factory drawing is neat as is the baseballs but the pile of white leather sewn webs is my favorite! I'm guessing these were some sort of promotional pictures used by a salesman.

That is a sweet glove photo! Maybe some of you guys with 700+ gloves could toss them all on the floor and take a shot like that.

All of the gloves in the photo are the exact same model - try putting a pile like that together!

Can't Rob pull that off rather easily?

I second that. He could put that great picture to shame with Riddles and Reisers.

Man, I saw that coming. But yes, I probably could do a Riddle and Reiser one that would resemble the cool picture above. Of course, I wouldn't have to if someone would update his website with my pictures.. I mean what's up to these guys with websites who don't update them?

These photos sold on eBay the other day and seem to be from the same series as the ones I posted above. There was a group shot of the workers outside the factory - what a killer sign! The other is a picture of Mr. Draper and Mr. Maynard in Draper's office.

Below are photos from a 1923 D&M catalog. The first is the familiar main factory now part of a college campus in Plymouth. The others were possibly in the Plymouth area but no locations given. This was D&M in their glory days.
