I just dropped in a small story on the "multiple glove finds" of the 1980s and 1990s on JD's site >>
http://www.vintagebaseballgloveforum.com/It should stir memories for many of us of the dark ages of glove collecting before the internet took hold!
Be sure and visit JD's excellent site.

That is one seriously cool story!
I'd always imagined finding a storehouse full of mint vintage gloves, but I had never given it any credit as being possible, or that it had ever happened.
I guess I was wrong!
The days before the internet were a hard bunch if you wanted a vintage glove, at least up here in Canada it seemed to be.
I scoured antique shops but only ever found 1950s model gloves or later.

Dave and Joe after the Kansas find, from the 1993 issue # 21 of TGC.

Wow

I see that Joe added more comments to that story on JD's site along with an article about the Nokona replicas. Great stuff!

Nice job Joe!! I wish I would find a mega load of gloves some day. The next question would be where would I put them all.
Keep up the good work Joe.

Here's the original story that ran in the newsletter about the find. Joe, if you don't want it posted, I'll take it down.

I think it's every glovers fantasy. Like a car guy dreams of finding a mint 57 T-bird in a barn somewhere.
Personally, I'd be happy finding 5 or 10 minty gloves. Dream on!
