I recently picked up a pretty tattered and fragile 1926 VWD catalog missing the cover and back but all the glove pages still intact. It is notable for two gloves. Both were $8.50 in their day:
Their top of the line glove in the catalog was the "Del Pratt" model FDP and is distinguished by an adjustable web.

I looked through the VWD section of http://www.baseballglovecollector.com and found this unidentified model. Dave may be happy to know his glove may be the Pratt model.

The other glove is the "Conqueror" model FTF.

Mike,

I climbed up into the old glove loft and broght that WDV glove down. I think I can make out one of the Model letters as "P". The web design on this particular model just about pegs it to the Pratt glove, I would think?

Thanks again for digging out those old catalog pics.

Dave
