Is anyone "up to snuff" on Wilson Dating Tags or Patches. Have some Wilson baseball shoes that look like the patch is about 1940s? :?:

This first tag is an early one from the 1920's

The narrow tag seems to be from the mid 1930's

This tag is from a 1940's split finger glove. Has the color scheme of the older tag with modern script.

The next two seem to bridge the 1940-50's together. Both tags showed up on the 1940's three number series and the 2000 series. Hard to figure.

.
All I can say is the red on black above has a slightly more modern script like the later 1950's gold on black tags

thanks mike!!!!
These "cleats" are from the 1940s which is what I suspected. Odd how seldom I ran into baseball shoes. Of course they weren't using odor eaters in those days so maybe
the perception on these is not desirable. :)

I don't know if the shoes you mention have the same style patch as the gloves, but here are some old Wilson uniform patches you may get a kick out of. Some of them are quite different than the gloves.
