Hi All,

After about four years, I finally upgraded the software for the Glove Galllery on the BBGC site. It wasn't easy. This new version has a slightly different look but we now have the search box you have all wanted for so long. Just go to the Glove Gallery link on the homepage and type in a model number or an endorsement or whatever and it will return the hits (just remember to clear your searches each time with the clear button next to it). I have it set to check the file names as well as the description titles within the nearly 10,000 photo database. Still working out some fine tuning as this version has tons more functionality on the back end.

I now have the ability to copy galleries so I can eventually break up the large galleries into subgalleries like Rawlings - Fielders Gloves, Base Mitts & Catchers Mitts all in subgalleries of Rawlings for example. It's pretty scary but I'll figure it out.

I also now have the ability to upload multiple file formats such as BMP, GIF, JPEG, JPG, PNG, 3GP, FLV, MOV, MP3, MP4, and ZIP, whereas before I could only upload .jpegs. The sky's the limit now. I'm pretty excited. (Brett, we should put your videos up here as well.)

Get me your keeper glove pics and please alert me of any changes to the owner's name so I can get those fixed as well. We all use it for trading and want the descriptions as accurate as possible. Thanks.

Been messing with it over the past few days, JD, and it's a fantastic improvement to an already stellar site! Going to make things a whole lot easier for everyone in the hobby.

I love it. As a strange coincidence I was going through the galleries the other day looking for a specific model and the format changed as I refreshed the page. Low and behold, a search function appeared. It's like you were reading my mind.?.?

I agree with Dave. I remember looking through the site a few years ago and was blown away by the wealth of images, organized with such car and expertise.
