As we all know, it's harder find gloves on our usual run of local stops but I did get an interesting CM88 Nokona catchers mitt, a model that hasn't changed much in over 30 years, still retaining its outside finger loops. This mitt was still in the line in 2005 and has a long history. The finger loops on the back of the glove were sort of the precursor for the single finger hole that later developed. Yet, this mitt feature and desisgn retained its popularity for Nocona for decades.

That's interesting that the "finger loops" hung in there through 2005 even with the advent of the finger hole and sheath designs. A sharp looking mitt!
