Being rather new to the hobby I never subscribed to Joe Phillips The Glove Collector newsletter. Joe sent along a few every time I purchased a guide from him and it seems whenever I find one in a drawer I find new information that I overlooked before. I've read the few I have over and over again and find something new that pertains to whatever my collecting interests are at the time.

What I'm getting at is wouldn't it be cool if there was a compilation of all the newsletters. I would think this would be a great reference book.

I second that! Joe, if you have them saved on your Mac, shoudld be pretty easy to compile them into one large reference book.

A while back, right after Joe published his final newsletter, I had suggested to him that it would be nice to have them all on a set of CDs. I even offered to get it done, provided he could supply the missing copies (I have about 30 that I bought on Ebay, plus a few I got via subscription). While Joe did not rule out that possibility, I haven't heard anymore about it. Another possibility would be to archive them all on a website. It's really up to Joe since he owns the copyright.

Brett and I broached the subject with Joe awhile back about putting them in the Library section of the website. Between us, we have all of the issues. Joe was still selling back issues and we didn't want to infringe on him as he wouldn't make any money having them out there for free on the website.

Joe, I agree that you should figure out a way to compile them and make money on them as they were an invaluable resource for us collectors for so many years. My offer still stands to upload them to the Library if you wish.

Thanks for all the nice compliments. Like many of you, I'm pleasantly surprised at times going back through the old issues and discovering interesting and helpful pictures and stories that had slipped past my memory.
Problem being that I haven't saved any on the computer except maybe the last half dozen on PDF files. Many of the old one were kept on floppies and there may be a few of those around. Otherwise it
would be a scanning job on the hard copies which I have bound.

I have the first 40 or 50 scanned onto my hard drive in PDF form. I'd be happy to finish them all and could send them to you on a DVD disc if you want Joe.

My preference would be for a hard copy edition, but I'd be in for a complete run for sure, either print or digital.
