Below is a rare circa 1958 Stall & Dean "Duke Snider" model that predates the Latina "Wingtip" design.

Henry Stall of Stall & Dean designed the back of the glove to eliminate a finger seam at the crotch and give the finger stalls a cupping action. The design patent was good for 14 years. Rawlings applied for their own patent the day the design patent of S&D ended its 14 year run.

Here is another Stall & Dean "Crown Back" glove. This one is a "Whitey Ford" model. It has great markings all around and an S&D logo button. it has the same wide strap joining the fingers as the "Duke Snider" model above.
