Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

Here's one from Ebay that has some interesting stamping. It's a model G44 with blazing stamping. The G40 is the one that pops up more, but this one strikes me as odd. Look how high the model number is, has anyone seen a D&M with a model number that high (placement wise)?

I've got one with the same stampings. Not as clear as yours but same placement. I guess I hadn't looked that close, but I pulled them down and took a clear look, same spot on one of them. Interesting, I wonder if in error or just positioning on the machine was a smidgen off?

it was more than likely an error and the model number was added
