Hello

I'd like to announce our 2010 Northeast Glove Collector Get Together information:

WHO: Any glove collectors are welcome to come
WHAT: A meeting to talk gloves, show off pieces from your collection, sell, trade, eat and have fun!!
WHEN: Saturday, April 10th, 2010 @ noon
WHERE: Vintagebrett's house in East Granby, CT

I hope we can get quite a group together this year - I already checked ahead with a couple of people so we're off to a good start. Bring some gloves (and other equipment if you want) to show to your fellow collectors - it can be pieces you just want to share with others, maybe some for possible trades, perhaps some to try and sell - all is good. I will have plenty of food and drinks for everyone. If you want to spend the entire weekend in CT, there are lots of things to do. The casinos are about an hour from our house. Wilco is playing at the Bushnell on Friday night - there are still a couple tix left - although their last couple of studio albums have been kind of blah, their live shows are always fun. We are 5 minutes from the airport so if anyone feels like flying in for the day, I provide free shuttle service. Just drop me a note if you can make it.

Jim - great, hope you can make it! Wait until you see this OK glove I got today - haven't seen one like it!

Just a reminder as we are about a month away - we have some confirmations already and hope to add some more. People in NJ and PA - it's not that bad of a drive at all. Lots of glove talk, food and fun! Email me if you need more information or directions.

Wilco in Philly on Saturday night. Sorry that I will miss it.

It'll be great to see the familiar faces again. Hopefully many others can come as well. I'll be bringing the full line up from my collection of reproductions. My fingers will be crossed for good weather. It'd be great to get in some old time catch.

I'm hoping for good weather too so we can play some catch outside. No snow on the ground at my house anymore - hopefully we won't get anymore.
