In reference to the crescent mitt I introduced in the "Today I Found" section, should I try to condition it in any way? The leather is pretty soft and flexible. No splits or tears. You can tell from the photos the back side has some dirt. There is a 1/8 to 1/4 inch hole down near where the strap connects. I don't want to mess with the front (white) side. But what about the back?
Thanks, John

It would be reasonable to condition the back - I concur that you should do nothing to the front. The back doesn't appear to need a deep cleaning - if you look in the glove conditioning section of the forum you'll find everyone's favorite cleaning methods.

If you are planning on selling, you may want to just sell as is and let the buyer decide what to do.
