Trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame
Posted: April 2nd, 2009, 5:55 pmI was able to visit the HOF today in Cooperstown, NY. It was very impressive and made me wish my boy had been with me. I am away on a business trip that had an opening that allowed me the time and he is back home in Illinois.
One disappointment that I had was the very small, almost nothing that was displayed for Tris Speaker. He was such an under appreciated superstar and the HOF was the same way in my mind.
The last thing I want to throw out is the glove from "Matty" that his wife gave the hall. It was one probably the thing I will remember most about the trip.
