The one that got away

As we approach on Valentine's Day I know many of us are scrambling to get those flowers, candies, or making that oh so sweet mix tape (Josh, don't act like I'm the only one dude!) for that special someone in our life. I'd like to start a thread and hear stories about the glove that got away from you. It could be a glove you traded, missed out on, wish you had back. Here's mine:
My senior year of high school I had seen an Old Joe Medwick at an antique store that I had always gone to for 95 bucks. Which seems like a lot, but at the time I was young and didn't know what gloves were supposed to be worth. Well anyway, I passed on the glove and was going to purchase it the next day. The next day I got back and my treasure was GONE! I was crushed. It was from that day that I started to collect gloves with much enthusiasm. Aw yes, we always remember the one that got away (sigh).
I could also say every glove I traded to Rob! Haha!
