WARNING: AVOID SCAM FROM eBay / forum member yhoj_2

Mr. VintageBrett I am writing this entry to warn everyone from eBay and web forum member / username: yhoj_2 AKA “Eriberto Gumban”
Sir, I have gathered all the facts and here they are:
Here are the facts:
I had bought a Great Rawlings HOH-80TFon 18-Oct-08 from eBay username “zappermeek” (by the way great service/great price highly recommended eBayer). I only paid $90 for this great glove. I planned to re-lace the glove and keep it for myself.
Here is where it begins…
1. On 23-Oct-08 I received the following email from yhoj_2:
You've received a message from an eBay member

Dear enri26,
Hi,
I'm willing to offer you $200 shipped Priority Insured(assuming the lining has no holes or tears and is still solid), but the transaction has to be completed through eBay. If you're interested just coordinate with me and set up an auction with a BUY IT NOW of say $190 w/ $10 shipping, stating in detail a description of the glove and photos. I don't mind if you use the photos your seller used. Just so there's no mistake what glove I am buying. Ideally I'd like the glove as I saw it in the auction you won, so no need to clean and condition it or relace it. I'd like to do that myself. There's another guy who won one at the end of July whom I made the same offer to, but he won't be back in town till tomorrow, but he's already been informed that I'm interested. His is just slightly better than yours condition-wise because his clothe label is intact and nice.
So just let me know soon. If we come to a deal first I will honor it. Immediately after the auction I will pay in the form of a US POSTAL MONEY ORDER and send it out Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. This you can cash at any U.S. Post Office so it's pretty straight forward.
Thanks for your time.

2. So I agreed to sell him the glove: Here is his 2nd email on 24-Oct-08:

Mr. Enriquez,
I went ahead and hit the BUY IT NOW. The guy you bought the glove from is actually from my area and I got the chance to speak with him in regards to the condition of the glove. So it should be fine. Just as long as you don't play catch with it.
Get it ready to be shipped. If you are willing to add Delivery Confirmation to the Priority Mail box the glove is going into, I can have my secretary Express Mail to you my Postal Money Order rather than 2-3 day priority mail, so that you should get it by Saturday.. Deal?
Like I said, you can cash it at the post office.. You have to go there anyway to mail the glove out. This way you can handle everything all in one shot.
Anyhow, I appreciate your willingness to close the deal right away.
Thanks, again.

Probably should give it till after midnight to track it. Takes a minute for them to update their systems, but it went out with all our other mail from the office. Post Office my secretary takes it to is at the San Francisco International Airport so it's well on it's way.

That depends on who the buyer is.
I paid you what I did because I wanted a 13" Trapeze made of solid enough leather to last me till I was seventy, assuming I stay healthy and strong enough to play till then.
In reality it's not as in demand in the hobby as say a 12TC or a SBT, both in really really nice condition can go for $200 on up. Had a chance to pick up a 13-inch SBT from a local softball player / HOH collector for $225. Glove was beautiful. But.....after spending so many years playing with a Trapeze I just couldn't see myself switching.
I have too many other gloves, for collecting purposes, that are on my WISH LIST to warrant spending that much money on a glove I won't use nor have any interest in collecting.
But it was an awesome glove and it is pretty rare and popular.
It seems like there are fewer Trapeze users and collectors than there are H-web guys.
Anyhow, to add to this, I just wanted to be fair to you, so I calculated what you spend and simply doubled it. This way, you at least get paid for your being at the right place at the right time to hit that BUY IT NOW when you did.
I've been collecting pre-war gloves for the past eight years and have come across some pretty rare gloves getting lucky and beating others to the punch, so I respect your efforts...and your timing.
Another guy won one in slightly nicer shape last July. He got back to me today and is willing to sell his, too. Though I offered him $150 + $10 for shipping. Now I have a gamer and a back-up.
In short, I paid what I paid because I wanted the glove. I might have overpaid but this way both parties are happy and I have no bad karma to take with me onto the field.
E.Gumban
Here is the email he sent me after posting the above info on the forum:
Jesse,
I left you a message on the Vintage Glove Forum. Just so you understand why I went all out and offered you double what I paid for the glove.
Trust me, it's not some ultra rare, high in demand, high dollar glove. I use a 13" Trapeze now, though made in the Philippines. I just wanted to upgrade my glove to something with better leather and better craftsmanship since I'm playing a lot more than I used to.
At 37 years old I'd like to play well into my sixties, so I just wanted a couple of solid gloves that will last me that long. This "made in the Philippnes" glove wasn't going to cut it. Anyhow, just wanted to pay you back for what the glove cost you, plus a premium for selling it to me. That's all.
A friend of mine who collects a lot of the rare Rawlings gloves tried to talk me out of buying your glove and buy his awesome conditioned SBT. Just couldn't see myself switching to a H-web glove after using a Trap for so long.
Anyhow, thanks, again. Hope this gives you a better understanding why you were able to double your money.

The "EH" at the begining of the tracking number signifies the Express Mail code the postal service uses. 28th? I don't think so. I already called the post office it left from. They say if it didn't get to you today it's because it was brought in too late. Noon time is the guarantee for next day. Expect it tomorrow or Monday at the latest. Sunday delivery depends on the Post Office that services your area.
I've gotten mail on Sundays due to it being Priority and Express. But that's my post office.

j,
I'm in court both today and tomorrow. By the way, I work as a PI for my brother who is an attorney. I have to testify in a case he's handling and the problem is I'm stuck at the courthouse till I'm called on so I can't really go anywhere during court hours.
The office says an envelope arrived for me yesterday. Still haven't had a chance to open it.
If you could just give me a couple of days I will take the money order in and have it resent to your correct address. Just hang tight. I don't think you have another buyer for the glove, and even if you did I don't think they'd pay you anywhere near what I offered you.
So, please, just hang tight, ok?

Yeah, it's already in an addressed Priority Mail Envelope. I'm already overpaying for the glove I can't afford to jack the price up on myself by sending this out Express Mal, again.
But I've got your new address on there and it is only a few hours south of me so it should get to you right away.
