We missed you all at the first annual Montana Glove Get-Together. I went out to see Mike Ellis again and finally met BJ Ayers. We met up at BJ's house and were overwhelmed by his incredible collection. That's Mike on the left, BJ in the middle and me on the right. His son took the pic. BJ had a ton of great gloves and other stuff to look at. We had a great time.
Mike and I stayed up til almost 3:00 in the morning both nights. I told him I wanted to get snowed in down in his basement. I could stay down there forever and do research.
Lots of display pics coming. Check out that Gallery to see BJ's and Mike's latest displays.

Hi JD,
Great to see you, Mike and BJ got together. Sure wish I could have been there to visit and check out the gloves.
BJ, great gloves and mitts. Nicely displayed too. I think I might recognize a couple of the old timer gloves and mitts.
Would love to see more pics if you have them.
Thanks JD,
Dave
Thanks

Dave, Thanks for the comments on the gloves, I can't seem to keep the display the same for any period of time, and yes I still have your gloves displayed!! Thanks again to Jim and Mike both for coming down and spending some time, little overwhelming with thier knowledge and all and me just being for the most part a beginner. It was my pleaseure to have both of them there and was glad to finally meet Jim in person. Mike it's always a pleasure, hope we can do some more trading soon and I hope you REALLY enjoy Smitty! I am on the look out no for another one. Jim... can't say it enough... thanks for the website, it has been key to my collecting, and thanks for the time answering all of my questions, likewise I hope we have many more trades to make and get togethers to take part in. I am expecting that their will be much "pain" to be had in our futures. The kids had a great time and wanted to know when we were doing again, I am figuring and hoping that the Vegas thing is not a dead deal and that we can all meet up there in the Spring! Again many thanks!
