Hi Everyone, I found this forum about a month ago while I was googling for Mizuno World Win 600. Next thing I know I'm seeing Mike 2007's collection of Mizuno's and Rawlings SAP's and I've been looking at this forum ever since! I'm horrible on a P.C. (10 mo.s exper.)and dont really understand much of how to do things correctly so bare with me as thats why I waited so long to join the forum. I love mid-inf HOH and Mizuno gloves but I'm more of an enthusiast than an expert. I have a Mizuno WW-600 and HOH 1000H that I've owned since new in early 90's and a few others.I enjoy playing hard-catch then long-toss with my 26 yr.old son at least 3-4 days a week. I've been winding my Cubs pocketwatch (that I got for Valentines Day in 1966 when I was 9 yr.s old) every night before I go to bed for the better part of 42 years...9 winds one night-10 next(Santo)11(Kessinger)14(Banks)it wont wind past 18(Beckert). Tough old watch-I always worried that if it broke the Cubs would have bad luck(I know what your thiking) or one of them would get hurt. Anyway sorry bout all the drivel and I am thankfull for this forum. Thanks, Eddie

Welcome. As a life long Dodger fan, I offer my condolences (sort of). I work with a guy who is a Cubbies die hard, and needless to say, he and I had some good hearted fun last week.
I'm 36, and not a Cubs fan at all, but I must see the Cubs win (or even get to) a World Series in my lifetime.
Heck, I'm no Red Sox fan either, but I pulled my son (who was 7 at the time, and not interested in baseball) out of bed to watch Boston win it in 2004. If they can do it, so can the Cubs.
Thanks rmiller

Hello and Thanks for the welcome. Your Dodgers are tuff. I know as good as the Cubs played during the season that they do need to try and relax and enjoy the moment...then maybe they can perform at their best when they are in the playoffs. The Dodgers seem to realize that this year. Hope your right about "if the Red Sox can do it" then so can the Cubs. I'll stand by them forever regardless. Red Sox seem to be a "killer playoff team" anymore. I love to watch them and with the Cubs out of it now, its hard for me to not root for them. I'm guessing Dodgers/Red Sox in the World Series BUT...just wait till next year!! Thanks again, Eddie
