Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

I recently picked up near mint Reach model XR basemitt and was wondering if anyone has production dates when this glove was produced. My guestimate is 1920's. Thanks for the help.

According to 2004 Vintage Baseball Glove Catalog Source book, the Reach XR model was made in 1923 (Brown leather), 1924 (Brown tan leather), 1926 (pearl horsehide), 1928 (brown horsehide). Each year the retail price was $2.00. The source book does not have any listings for 1927 and from 1929 to 1934 they are listed as Reach, Wright & Ditson. They went to AJ Reach in 1935 and still continued to make the XR model.
