Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

Ok, I have nothing but a description, but hopefully, with everyone's collective expertise, I'm hoping to identify a glove based on a pretty brief description.

It's a Rawlings 3-finger model from the early to mid-50s. It as an "anchor web", and a red patch. That's all I have for now, but hopefully, I'll have a picture to show everyone soon. Does this sound familiar to anyone - does anyone know of a Rawlings model (or range of models) that might fit this admittedly poor description?

I have a Musial 3 finger HOH that is close to your description.

I got the description from the relative of an obscure 1956 Redlegs outfielder, Bobby Balcena. This gentleman, Bobby's nephew, inherited the glove which has been sitting is his closet since the mid-60s. Hopefully, he can take a picture of this glove (which I think could be a pro-issue) but it might take a little time for him to find somebody who can go over there and take a digital pic of it.

That said, do you think you can post a picture of your Musial?

And here's a question to the rest of the forum (maybe better suited to doc than anyone else), but do you think it's possible that Rawlings would have kept records of all the professional players that they made or customized gloves for?
