Let's See Your Ugly Gloves

Hi All,
I wanted to change things up a bit and share one of my favorite folk art type gloves with everyone. Hope I can figure out how to post some pictures. Joe and I thought of this idea for a posting when he told me he recently saw the ugliest glove in the hobby again, which resides in a Dallas collection. I always wanted to see it because I love ugly gloves. Ugly gloves need love too. Hope we can get a picture of it one day.
Anyway, this is a homemade type mitt that I would only imagine is from the depression era when a kid probably said, "Hey mom, can I get a glove?" And she probably said, "We can't afford one but I can make you one." It is sewn together with a belt and uses a few different types of leather, rawhide and shoelaces. You put it on by placing your fingers under the rawhide backing. It's a real simple design and that's where it's beauty, or lack thereof, lies. I love it.
