Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

I received a phone call from the fellow running this auction on ebBay that he had received a magnanimous offer on this glove (presumably off the table since I didn't see it reflected in the bidding) and was wondering why all the
expensive interest. I told him to contact Bob Clevenhagen at Rawlings.
Any ideas for the heightened value on this glove from our astute forum members?
